                                        Picture
Marvin took me a looooong time to make about 1.5 years in fact. He is finally keeping guard at our front door in Muir Beach.
He is named after many hours of listing to Al Green and Marvin Gaye. He is made of clay, roughly 5 foot long and hand painted. He is heavy but hollow and sealed to live outdoors.
Coming originally from South Africa, (Durban), Natal is near Zululand where there is a huge population of crocs. I love their ability to grab and swim, surprise attack, camoflauge and scare,  points and shape......their amazing skin. All of it. Been a fan all my life and seen many encounters. This one is not any real species. Just my own.
